"Colossal" Black Tiger Shrimp

In the USA, they have great names for the size ranges of shrimp, like Extra Colossal & Colossal: In Canada, we call "Extra Colossal" Shrimp "six-eights" because there are between 6 and 8 tails per pound, and Colossal are between 13 - 15 tails per pound.
But we think Extra & Colossal really start to do justice to how amazing these shrimp really are!

These Black Tiger Shrimp are something to behold, naturally raised without feed or chemicals; the mangrove forest provides all that is required. They're ranched, probably the most impressive seafood program we've seen in many years.

"Extra Colossal" Shrimp or "six-eights" are between 6 and 8 tails per pound:

• Individually quick frozen
• Fully cleaned, (shells and vein removed)  

Colossal Shrimp or "thirteen-fifteens"  are between 13 and 15 tails per pound:
• packed in 16 ounce bags or 2 pound Packs
• Individually quick frozen
• Fully cleaned, (shells and vein removed)
